Parent Involvement
Preschool is the perfect time to be a part of your child’s education as their relationship with learning is established. Every family involved in CHPPNS brings something new to the school; whether it be a career, interest, skill, language or simply a passion for being part of your child’s learning.
Field Trips and Community Engagement
A unique part of CHPPNS is our exploration and engagement in Long Beach and surrounding areas. We venture out on a variety of field trips roughly twice a month, and also include age appropriate community service projects every year.
Play Learning
At CHPPNS our students primarily learn while at play! Our day includes singing, sand play, bike time, mat time, reading, imaginary play, manipulatives, arts and crafts, and so much more. All of these activities build confidence, social skills, and fine motor skills while also preparing students academically for kindergarten.
